Vignana Bhairava Tantra - 54

The body and the earth
Swadehe Jagatovaapi Sukshma Sukshmatarani Cha
Tathwani Yaani Nilayam Dhyathvante Vyajyate Para

Simply sit down and focus on the five components of your own body. It is made up of five elements - earth, water, fire, air and space. Then there is the mind or the antah karana, your inner equipment. That contains the Manas - Mind, Buddhi - Intellect, Chitta - Memory and Ahamkara - the ego sense of "I" and "Mine." You look into the world and you see the same combination of five elements. You go deeper into the subtle space, that is through and between the objects with name and form. Your contemplation on all or any of these will take you to the same source of energy or the supreme consciousness that resides in everything and pervades its home too. - Swahilya Shambhavi.

Its difficult to see the akkanda sachidananda (supreme consciousness) because one has to wade through various obstacles i.e. through various objects surrounding us. Where as its very simple to become aware of that consciousness within ourselves if we dwell deep in to it. Its like a child holding a pole and swirling around it. The pole is athma holding it with manas and do all our worldly activities. Once all our ragha / dwesha / baya /krodha i.e. impurities are removed the ananda will be exeperienced with out any hindrance. It may take just a moment or years or janmas together depending on our samsakaras. Till such time it is only a knwoledge and not experience i.e. anubuthi. What we have to do is to be aware of our goal and cling to that till we achieve. The practice itself gives us so much of happiness. Let's be happy and make all around us to be in happiness.
